It also allows convergence of multiple classes on one network. The IEEE 802.1AS is part of a set of standards for AVB (Audio Video Bridging) which facilitates the transport of high performance audio and video on a LAN, allowing video and audio streams to be synchronized. With AVB support, the IGS-RX164GP+ can sync traffic from automotive infotainment and in-vehicle networking systems to provide better audio/video experience as audio from the radio and video from the infotainment system is streamed and bridged across a common network.
